Keya Kashem is a sole trader operating under the German small business regulation (§ 19 UStG). No VAT is charged on our services.

2. Scope and Subject Matter

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of resumes.coach, an AI-powered platform that helps users optimize their CVs and resumes. By registering or using the platform, you agree to these terms.

3. Registration and Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Credits

  • Credits are the in-platform currency used to access CV optimization features.
  • New users receive 1 free credit upon registration.
  • Additional bonus credits may be awarded when subscribing to our newsletter, subject to the conditions stated at the time of the offer.
  • Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
  • Credits have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
  • Credit purchases are final. Refunds are not provided except where required by applicable law.

5. Prices and Payment

  • All prices are shown in EUR and are final prices. As a small business under § 19 UStG, we do not charge VAT.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • A purchase is complete once payment has been confirmed and credits have been added to your account.

6. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. However, by completing a credit purchase you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the credits have been added to your account and used.

Unused credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none have been consumed. To request a refund, contact us at contact@resumes.coach.

7. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimer

  • Our platform uses AI to analyse and optimise CV content. AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes only.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific job application.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before use.
  • We are not responsible for any hiring decisions made by third parties based on content generated through our platform.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform
  • Use the platform to generate misleading or fraudulent CVs
  • Share your account with others

9. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the CV content you submit.
  • By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service.
  • The platform, its design, and all underlying technology are the intellectual property of Keya Kashem / Zehnzig and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to missed job opportunities or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Availability and Changes

  • We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
  • We will notify users of significant changes to these terms by email or prominent notice on the platform.

12. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for consumer disputes: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We are not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, but are willing to seek an amicable solution in case of complaints. Please contact us first at contact@resumes.coach.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
